This Asian delight was whipped up by me one night, without too much thought , I just used what I had to create this delicious meal … Can be served with steamed rice too ..
Ingredients (serves 4 | makes 4 Medium serving bowls)
- 500 grams Pork belly
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon Ginger paste
- Pinch Black pepper
- 500 grams Long green beans
- 1 tablespoon Peanut oil
- 1/4 cup Water
Method
- Steam the Beans and set aside Place chopped pork belly In a hot wok and brown using the peanut oil
- Remove from wok and add all other ingredients with 1/4 cup of water stir well until reduced and thickened
- Add the cooked pork and toss through the green beans .. And serve
