Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 500gm turkey mince
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbls lemongrass, chopped
  • 2 tbls coriander
  • 1/2 cup spring onions, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp fresh crushed chilli or sweet chilli sauce for milder taste
  • pinch pepper
  • 3 tbls olive oil

Method

  1. In a bowl mix all ingredients well together.
  2. Shape into 12 patties.
  3. Heat oil in pan over medium heat and cook until browned and cooked through.

Notes

This is yummy served with lime wedges, sweet chilli sauce and green leafy salad.

  • I actually love Turkey but don’t really eat it that often.
    I remember when I was in high school my parents buying a leg at woolies like the rotisserie chickens and they were so good!!!

  • Yum I will have to try this as I make some with crunchy peanut butter , sweet chilli sauce and chopped coriander and I don’t fry them I bake them

  • I would use Panko breadcrumbs as they are light and crunchy and Asian. It will suit the flavours.
