A different variation to normal chicken wraps

Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 1 pkt Plain white wraps
  • 1 Roast Chicken
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • Your choice of salad ingredients (eg mesclun lettuce, tomato, onion, carrot)
  • 2 slices of Cheese

Method

  1. Tear off all white meat from chicken, place in a bowl. Prepare your salad first this makes things a lot easier.
  2. Mix together garlic and sour cream
  3. Lay out wraps, spread garlic sour cream on wrap, place cheese, chicken and then any salads you may like. I use shredded lettuce, tomato and red onion.

Notes

Learnt this recipe when I worked for a bagel bar in Bendigo

  • Wraps are the best, you can pretty much add any vegetable to them. I love to include things that are pickled like capsicum and carrot as well as add a dash of sweet chilli to give it a bit of extra flavour. Wraps are hearty and so easy to make and enjoy.

  • I love this. We’re a huge fan of wraps in our home and find them a regular part of our nightly meals – crumbed fish, souvlaki type with lamb, chicken breast or crumbed, as taco type meals. And my son loves to take them now to school every day for lunch with chopped up chicken tenders, etc.
