So I’ve been on the hunt for a good green smoothie recipe for ages – even just a decent one that I can get down without gagging.  It hasn’t been easy I will tell you that. I’ve had many a gag moment.

But I am pleased to say I have found one and it’s delicious!

  • 2 green apples
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1/2 bunch mint
  • 1 large lime (juice from lime)
  • Big handful spinach or kale
  • 2cm piece ginger
  • 500 mls coconut water

  • Reckon the apples would make this smoothie sing. It’s hard to get the right combo with greens. Will be trying this when I get some more groceries.

  • It is still vibrantly green. I’m sure my kids will even have a go at this, just for the fact it’s green. You don’t get much green food lol Sounds tastey, non gag worthy, here’s hoping it tastes the same because I’ll be trying it
