Evie Tate – “I started when I was pregnant to make things easier and have never looked back. My 3 & 5 year old love to help unpack the crates which is so much less stressful than the “help” they give me when we go to Coles shops. Always fresh and love the samples”
Pritika Huckstepp – “ I get mine delivered and I love it saves so much time so thank you Coles for my life so easy :-)”
Maxine Midson – “My favourite things about Coles online is the kids aren’t running around the store, they love waiting for the truck to arrive and they think he is bringing us presents”
Kirsty Northcott – “Would like to say how impresses I am with your fruit and veg boxes. Always fresh, lovely tasting fruit and veg. Very happy. Thanks Coles online!”

Once a hesitant online shopper - now I'll never look back!
After taking a look at another supermarkets online shopping about 2 years ago, I was totally confused and put off even trying as it was not an easy set up. Recently I tried Coles online shopping and could not be happier. I got free delivery before Christmas, all my groceries were available, and delivered fresh by a friendly driver.
The first time, it took me a while but since then I have used previous orders and lists to order from and now there is no looking back. I love that the specials are listed so i don't miss them and that it can all be done from the comfort of my own home. We save money as I have the time to look for specials and don't have to take hungry kids shopping with me!
I love that I can add to my order up until a cut off point (much better than the other supermarket I tired) as I often forget things and this way can add them easily.
Overall I would highly recommend Coles Online Shopping to everyone - it's one less stress out of my week and I could not be happier!
Oh, and getting Flybuys points online makes it even sweeter!
Having small children and a husband who works away from home, I find grocery shopping a bit of a hassle, this service is fantastic for me in our situation.
The range to chose from is great, the quality is always high - even for fresh produce, and their staff are so great and friendly! Thank you Coles!
I love Coles online shopping. I shop online with Coles every fortnight. I love being able to pick products while at home. it's so much easier. and the delivery workers are so happy, and bring in my shopping. will always get online shopping with coles.
Amazing service! Will definitely be shopping like this from now on! We have a ridiculously steep driveway and the gentleman who unloaded our order was fantastic and very friendly. We have 4 kids and 2 very big dogs so there was a lot to unload. Products that I had chosen that were not available were all upgraded and weRe excellent value for money. Well done Coles!
Deliverer friendly, delivered on time, great way to shop!
I had never order my groceries online before. What a surprise to find all my groceries I had picked deliverd to the door by a friendly deliverer, wanting to know if I was happy with the service and delivered on time! WOW, will definitely do this again!
great service was easy to use and the delivery person was very friendly
i love the ease of online shopping specially with three kids under 6, food shopping in the supermarket is usually a nightmare but after discovering my area now does delivery it made me definatly choose to do shopping online and save the fights and hassles i usually face when doing my dreaded food shop
I started shopping for groceries online when I was 8.5 months preggies with #2 & have always used Woolworths. I tried Coles before they upgraded their website but found it too confusing. But that has certainly changed. The website is really user friendly as well as the delivery guy - had my groceries taken all the way into the kitchen
I tried the coles online shopping for the first time last week and loved it! I find it sometimes an overwhelming task to get out and go shopping with a 7 month old and often dread doing the shopping. I love that I could go online and browse all the things I needed and have it parodied for and sent to my home. No wheeling through a supermarket with a crying baby out trying to pack and unpack the car! Very happy with this service and will be doing this more often now
this town has only just recently got into the delivery side of things. the online shopping process was so easy to do and the driver is nice and really helpful and helped unpack the groceries
the kids really loved the experience and were so excited to see the truck and have a visitor bringing goodies
I wasn't sure about the whole concept of online shopping for groceries but was pleasantly surprised by easy it all was. The food was delivered within the agreed timeframe, exactly what I ordered and nicely packed. Will definitely be looking to use the service again.
I found this to be a convenient service, You can shop at home when you have time a it can provent you from buying things you really dont need. The best part is once the shopping is complete you get to choose the time frame you want it delivered and get a estimate cost for the items you ordered, you can also change it and add things you may have forgotten if you put your order in earlier enough and you make the changes before the cut off time they give you.
I love this service and the recent improvements have made it even better! I recently had baby number 3 and without coles online we would have lived on takeaway for the last 9 months! Plus now I don't have to drag 3 kids around the supermarket. Any issues, it's easy to call and the staff are happy to help anyway they can. The system remembers your last few orders and creates a list of usuals from your fly buys card. Some may find this to personal but I love it. It makes it easier and faster to shop. I would recommend that any mum give them a go. Especially with your first delivery being free at the moment.
I must admit that I was a little skeptical of online shopping when it first became popular. I mean, I'm a fussy apple person, I like to be able to 'peruse the merchandise'! But after my second bub was born, I had to start prioritising certain things to make life a bit less stressful, and outsource when possible. Grocery shopping was one of those things I just didn't need to cart the kids in and out the car for each week. So I gave Coles online a go. The process was super easy and when I put my flybys details in.... BAM! pretty much everything I purchase flooded straight into my 'regulars' list (including a guilty cherry ripe or two
I started Coles click and collect shopping because I was struggling with bubs to make it to the shops. I found it was so easy. Yes the first time took a while but now my food preferences are saved I can do it in a 20 min nap. I found I save money because I only buy what I need. The cons are I have had a few bloopers like getting a small pack of steak so thinking I needed to increase the quantity to 2 on the next order and ending up with 2 packets. I was disapponted that I purchased 3 yoghurts and all three packs expired in 4 days which clearly I am not going to eat 12 tubs of youghurt in 4 days- that was poor form. The only other thinb I miss is getting thd discounted items but that is ok. There is also a few issues with some of the flybuys offers not being available to me. I.e I spent over $ 120 but it would not allow me to use my points voucher-disappointing

Oh, and getting Flybuys points online makes it even sweeter!
After reading the reviews by Mom’s community members I have decided to give online shopping a go. It looks like it will be easy to do and less time consuming than travelling to the shops and waiting for a checkout to finally open due to only one or two being in operation!
Website was easy to use and I found it easy to navigate through the website. Driver was great, very friendly and carried the groceries into the house. Delivery times were good. Should have more free delivery days. Would recommend using coles online to anyone especially new mums. good specials online too.
Groceries delivered is amazing none the less of any human mistake that is made, if something is going to help me not take my 2 children to the shop by myself in order to do groceries I'm winning! :) the online ordering experience I find is a little bit more complicTed as I couldn't find everything straight away that I wanted due to a mis selling or not knowing the correct name but would always find it in the end. The delivery fellow was great, helpful and lovely! The products that arrivedwere of good quality however I was missing a couple of things but they rectified that issue immediately once called. :)
my friend was ordering online from coles for long time and she suggested me and I tried for first time, the products we ordered were exactly delivered and it was delivered with care and delivered in correct time as well. excellent customer service too, the fresh foods were clearly separated from others and were delivered fresh as well. I would recommend it for others as well and I am totally happy with them, I order things and make it deliver often.
So conveinient, love the samples that come with the groceries and the delivery drivers are always lovely. It is such an easy way to stick within budget and there are no impulse buys.
Coles online shopping was great and very convinent for me as I am always busy and find it hard to do all of the shopping. The groceries came straight to your door and the man was very cheerful and helpful to me. My groceries were delivered the next day it was great! I never thorght shopping could be that easy. The product serch was easy because you could see everything that is usally in store and if you cannot Find something you can just serch for it. I would recomend this service to others as it saves time and is very convenient.
I never used to be a fan of online food shopping but with two crazy little ones who run and chatter constantly grocery shopping can be very difficult. With Coles online shopping I can get the shopping done whilst they are asleep or playing happily. I can get a bit done here and there when I get a chance or when I remember something and then it comes straight to my kitchen.
Coles online shopping is a great theory, so I thought I would use It when both my husband and myself were sick, my hubby was in hospital and I don't drive so I thought it was the answer to all my problems, wrong, I found the site easy to navigate, easy to place order and arrange a convenient delivery time, this is where my satisfaction ceased, the rest was like a lucky dip, I got Mustard instead of mayonnaise, my bananas were bruised and inedible, not even banana cake usable, I was missing several items that were supposed to be there, I did not even get my milk, I did call but their was nothing that could be done in a reasonable time frame, so I had to get out my walking frame, call my son and get him to take me to the supermarket to get the things I needed, which is what I should have done first and saved the delivery fee and the increased cost of the products. will be a long time before I ever use this service again.
Awesone service, makes your life alot easier and convenient.
I have been shopping online with Coles for a few months now and it is great. It is so much easier to sit down and be able to concentrate on what I need to get, it is so easy to see all the specials available and find the best bargains. You also avoid the embarrassment of getting to the checkout and you have overspent. No waiting in lines and lugging your shopping home. My delivery man is so friendly and has even offered to pack my shopping away (to which I declined) but it was a nice gesture. I can also find products that I either miss in the store or can't find. There is a few down falls such as you can't pick your own fruit and veggies so sometimes the grapes for example aren't fresh bit they do refund the cost to your account if you ring them for your next shop. The time of the deliveries is a little difficult for me as I get my shopping on Wednesdays which is the day I am child free, I can either choose a later time and miss out on half my free day or I can choose the 7-9 option and hope that they are there before 8:30am (my daughter's school starts at 8:45am. I choose the 7-9 option and majority of weeks it is here well before 8:30 but there has been a time it didn't get her til 9 so my daughter ended up being late for school. It would be better if they had smaller and more time frames. But other then that it's great, you get free delivery on Wednesdays and they usually give you a bag with samples of awesome products to try, this week I got a bottle of ketchup, a protein bar, chewing gum and coffee. I would reccomend it to everyone, great service and makes life a lot easier and smoother, the pros defiantly out way the cons.
i find this service to be really convenient especially as we get closer to Christmas and I'm stocking up on some bulk purchases to save me traipsing around the shops in December. I love the delivery service as my kitchen is upstairs so having the groceries delivered to the bench is fantastic. I can't always find the full in store range online but
I am happy to drop by the supermarket occasionally for a small basket of shopping in between the online deliveries.
I normally use the opposition for my online groceries but decided to give Coles a go & boy was I pleased with my decision! The website is really well laid out & easy to use. Love the "shopping list" feature. My groceries arrived well within the time frame & the delivery man took them all the way to the kitchen. Talk about service! My only negative due to their popularity the delivery slots fill up REALLY quickly :-). Great job Coles!
I regularly shop online with Coles and am mostly happy with the freshness and quality of produce and fruits. The delivery team are efficient and friendly but don't stay and chat, the time frames offered for delivery are in block sets and are mostly convenient. There is an extensive range of products online and it takes a while to go through the listings to find the item, brand, and range you are after, but you can store it for future purchases. There have been occassions where items were replaced with similar brands or items were missing, but mostly everything is there. It is very convenient not having to shop with young children.
Coles online is an easy and convenient way to shop
I have always shopped at Coles anyway, but when my second baby was born I found it difficult to buy groceries at the supermarket. I found Coles online the easiest and most convenient way to shop. I did find some of my regular items difficult to find on the website but overall I would recommend the service. I found the delivery staff very friendly and helpful also.
I love online shopping. It saves me time, stress and money. I work 4 days per week and don't want to spend my day off without children grocery shopping, nor do I want to spend my weekend doing it. The convenience of online shopping is worth so much. I spend less as I only buy what's on my list. The few times something hasn't been right Coles customer service have sorted when I give them a phone call.
ive now used coles online at least 5 times, each time the service has varried but i am always still left happy with the service. sometimes they are late, ive had them go to the wrong house and ive had one person who was quite rude but i honestly still dont like complaining about it because the conveinence of the service is awesome. i love that you can keep tally of how much you are spending and edit the shopping list up until 12 hours before delivery which makes it good for someone like me who forgets things until the last minute. the food is always fresh and they have never forgotten an item. the website is so easy to use. the only thing id like to improve is maybe the coles app could start letting you do the shop on there

How to choose the best lunch box for school
When you’re searching for a kids’ lunch box, take the time to work out what will best suit their needs. If you make the right choice and invest in a quality one, it will last many years.
Box, bento or bag? If your child doesn’t like different foods touching, a bento lunch box is a great choice. Also, think about whether they prefer cut-up or whole fruit; a bento is better suited to cut food, while bags and boxes suit whole fruit. Bags are fantastic if you like to pack separate containers, like smaller bento or snack containers.
Freshness is a must – An insulated bag or box will keep everything cool and fresh until snack and lunchtime. But you can also get boxes that come with cold and ice packs. Remember, kids’ lunches often sit at room temperature for up to 5 or 6 hours before they’re eaten, so insulation and coolness are important. Check out how to keep school lunches safe in the heat.
Easy-to-clean design – Check if the box is dishwasher-safe, or for lunch bags, if they’re machine-washable.
Leak-proof – The last thing you want is a soggy mess at lunchtime, so if buying a hard lunch box, look for designs that are leak-proof with proper seals.
Child-friendly – Depending on your child’s motor skills and independence, you may need to start with a product that’s simple to open and close.
The right size – We tend to pack way too much in our kids’ lunches, so think about how much realistically you’ll need to pack for your child when choosing the size of their lunch box. You may also need to consider the size of their school bags.

The spill-proof individual compartments mean no mixing of savoury and sweet, and the 280ml double-wall thermos keeps soups and pasta hot for up to six hours!
Health professionals agree that kids need a good balance of lean protein, grains, fruit and vegetables throughout the school day. Skip the processed food and try to reach for whole foods that pack a punch in the nutrient department. Here are some great ideas:
Grilled chicken or turkey wraps with fresh salad
Crackers and vegetable sticks with healthy dips like hummus
Whole-grain pasta with cherry tomatoes and your choice of cheese
Zucchini slice cut into rectangles for easy stacking in an insulated box
That lunchbox comparison table is handy to have. It helped me make a decision on which lunchbox to buy next for my daughter who is starting kindergarten. I needed to upgrade her lunchbox but wasn’t sure which way to go. The table helped me with my decision. I ended up going with the BBOX and have found a cheaper lunch bag from a department store that it fits in.
I do not know if anyone else has picked up on this or not, but every bag mentioned in the table above is a ‘designer’ brand. There are plenty of more affordable options that aren’t over $40. I have never spent that much on a lunchbox – even from Smiggle. The cheaper brands last just as well too.
Getting ready for the return to school has started to kick in so this was a timely read. We have the yum box and i love it, it is so easy for my daughter to open and close on her own. I find the lunch cooler bags also a great idea however some days depending on what else needs to go to school, they can be quite bulky to include in the school bag. I need to do some more research this year as i like the idea of being able to watch it in the washing machine, that is a clever idea.
Along with all of the other back to school products; there is also a good range of lunch boxes available for people to buy. It has been fun to see the wide range of bottles and lunch boxes that are available for the new year for school and for work.
Lunch boxes have come such a long way since my eldest was a kid, he’s now 26! There’s really a solution to everything from food heating, cooling, dividers, pockets etc etc. Lunch boxes are a real fashion accessory and so on-trend these days. I personally love the Bento lunch boxes. They save on plastic and separate different foods.
I am such a huge fan of Bento lunch boxes and Bento. Food should be so many wonderful things; including delicious, fun, colourful and nutritious too. Lunch is a favourite meal because the body is ready for some more calories and a boost of energy. Food looks so good in Bento lunch boxes.
So so many fantastic options! We use the montii co ones for our kdis and swear by it. Its lasted 3 years so far and still standing strong, like new since the first day using it. They are so durable and i find cleaning them to be the easiest for us.
There are so many great lunch box option out there indeed ! I’ve always liked the Bento style lunch boxes for my kids. It reduces the use of plastic lunch bags and packaged food which aren’t very good for the environment and it encourages to present a good variety of foods (which is not only better nutrition wise but lao to prevent our kids from getting bored with same foods all the time.
There are some really fabulous options here. So many variations of colour, shape and size. I love the bento style lunch boxes, so handy to keep food separate and eliminate the use of plastic packaging. The machine washable bags are a great idea too. They can get grubby so fast, this would be so much easier to maintain
This has gotten much easier since my kids hit high school – they have strong opinions about their lunch boxes, so I don’t have to think about it so much anymore! However, I am strongly in favor of bento style boxes regardless of their age. They’re easy to clean, easy to pack, and invite appropriate sized portions.
Great article! Our kids are so lucky, when it comes to lunchboxes, they really are spoilt for choice. There are so many to pick from. Regarding sandwiches, my eldest son, used to hate sandwiches for school lunches. It wasn’t until many years later that I discovered that he’d throw out his sandwiches in the playground bins. My son’s an adult now and he still hates sandwiches. He only likes “hot” lunches. So glad he lives on his own now and can make his own “hot” lunches just the way he likes them.
This is an extremely useful article!! 2 schppl going kids and third starting kinder soon means we are always on the lookout for lunch ideas and lunch boxes. This is a great list with features and prices listed to make the search easier and help with decision making for purchasing of the lunch boxes
This is super useful article and thank you. I can see so variety of lunch boxes from every store. Always wonder which one would be more convenient to use by little hands. I love some of these lunchboxes to give it a try for this year. And then decide to go with suitable ones
Wow, lunch boxes have really come such a long way from when I was taking a lunch box to school. Feel old, like “back in my day”, but we were lucky to have options like are available now. While I like some of these designs, I feel like they aren’t super practical.
These lunchboxes are beautiful but are they really worth the expensive price tag? I have been through so many lunch boxes and bags over the years and found the best it to use an insulated lunchbox bag with ice brick and use small containers to keep individual items fresh and assessable.
I love the bbox lunch boxes. They are so reliable and tough when kids throw their bags around. Easy to wash and store. I have used the we can be tiny snackies at home too. The boys love choosing a certain animal shape. They wash well, are durable and great quality.
My kids are old enough now to pack their own lunches and I am so happy to see the great choices they are making. They take left over meals, cook food in the morning to take and now I am confident they aren’t throwing away sandwiches! I do have the chilly bags for them, I find they fit better into bags
My daughter uses a bento box now for work and sometimes an insulated bag in summer, but when she was at school it was a rectangular lunch box with no compartments. It was very easy to wash each day, just the box and lid, and it could still be filled with rolls/sandwiches and snacks.
Lunchboxes are so important these days. Back in my day it was a brown paper bag or the exact same lunch box that everyone else had and there were three compartments. Today its such a fashion statement and as much as the lunchbox itself is judged so are the contents.

Once a hesitant online shopper - now I'll never look back!
