The Vileda Ultramax XL Mop 2in1 Refill is the ultimate cleaning solution for shiny, clean floors on all hard floor types.

The Ultramax Microfibre 2in1 mop pad offers excellent cleaning performance with special red and grey fibres that efficiently removes stubborn stains, dirt and particles resulting in shiny floors.

When you mop your floor, all of the tiny microfibres, which consist of millions of tiny synthetic fibres loosen the dirt and physically pick it up – removing over 99% of bacteria and viruses with just water* alone, so there’s no need to use any harsh cleaning chemicals.

How to get the best out of your Vileda Ultramax XL Mop 2in1 Refill

Vileda UltraMax Flat Mop

Get started by attaching the mop head using the easy four press stud buttons. Thanks to microfibre cleaning power there’s no need for chemicals, so for an excellent cleaning performance simply wet with water and get started!

Easily clean all your hard floor types in no time, using this extra large mop head that is easy to manoeuvre under furniture and tight spaces.

Once you’re finished, simply detach the pad and place it in the washing machine, to be used again and again. Wash in temperatures up to 60°C and with similar textiles for best results. For the ultimate cleaning power Vileda recommends that you replace your mop head every 6 months.

  • Absorbent and machine washable

    I love the microfibre mop head and the finish it gives my floors! It is easy to clip on and off the mop and even better that you can pop in the washing machine to clean and use time and time again.

    It is a great size that covers a much larger floor area that my regular mop and would definitely recommend.

    I love having an extra refill mop head on hand. We use our mop every day, and once its dirty and in need of a wash, i can have 2 (or more ) in rotation so I'm never without a mop head

    They click into place very easily and clean up pretty well in the machine too.

    I liked the idea of washable refills. Having extras in the house is perfect when we need more than one for households that has kids and pet and also trying to save electricity.

    So we could put in the washing machine after a few of these pads are dirty.

    Vileda 2in 1 mop bucket is a good brand to mop the house I think every house should have it. Vileda is like a family in my house now I have been using it since very long and it makes my work easy and quick.

    I can guarantee with 100% certainty that whenever my mop head is in the wash someone WILL spill something on the floor and I will painstakingly look at my machine wishing for my mop. Having the 2 in 1 refill head available at a very reasonable price point is fantastic and love that feature and the availability of the product.     I was really impressed with how well the vileda ultraMAX XL cleaned my tiled floors with just water. It wasn't overly priced for the bucket and mop. Very happy with the results and looking forward to a speedy mop day next round. Definitely sharing this with my family and friends. Cuts cleaning floors down and any time saved is important for spending with kiddies afterwards

  • Easy to use

    I like the idea of attaching the mop pad to the mop. Very often the other types of attachments are loosing their strengths so I am very curious for this one will work after couple of months.

    The mop pad is easy to attach and clean the floor well, I can tell that its even polishing it with the Microfibre cloths. The size makes all work quick and easy . Only problem as its a thick pad its taking more time to dry ( pad not the floor ????- floor dries very quickly)

  • Works pretty well however..

    I’ve been using the vileda for a while now and it does a pretty good job of cleaning my tiles flooring and it’s great being able to throw it in the wash as well. My only issue that I’ve had is the pad keeps coming off the little clips if I go a little too hard in some areas, which is a little frustrating.

  • OMG how often do mop companies change these designs?

    I do like Vileda quality, but every time I buy a mop, the design of the head changes completely, and there are no universal size for refills unless we are talking the old shaggy string mop, a bit like the ones you see on a dreadful mullet haircut. By the time you need them, they are no longer available. I have a great Vileda mop and can no longer buy a refill to fit it, so it's just hard plastic and you can't mop with that.

  • Multi texture fibres

    Im constantly cleaning up spills throughout the day. This mopping system is great for spot cleaning. With multi texture fibres this does a great job.

    With the extra refill pad makes it so mach easier to swap out & be ready for the next spill.

    Definitely worth grabbing the vileda ultraMAX XL refill to swap out while the first Is in the wash. A little elbow grease and it brings those dried on food spots right out and leaves a shiny tile behind. I like that you dont need anything to add to water but if you do it creates even more of a fresh sparkle and shine

    If you own the Vileda Ultramax XL Mop 2in1 mop system, then I highly recommend purchasing at least one extra refill. They are machine washable, so you can rotate between the two when cleaning your home. The microfibre heads are great quality and do a fantastic job at lifting up dirt from your floors.

    I liked the idea of washable refills, it’s perfect for busier households that give their mops a run for their money. I found water alone was fine in the living and dining room but the kitchen itself needed a bit more oomph. Lots more oily messes in there!

  • Great to have a spare

    So easy to change this refill pad. It pops on and off with 2 connectors on each edge of the XL mop head. So great to throw it in the machine to wash it, makes it so much cleaner than the old sponge style. I tried to use a dry one to dry the floors but it didn't really work well for that. It does however hold a lot of water when soaked in the bucket and the wringing in the bucket works well so it's not super wet to mop with. A great size to cover lots of surface area at once too. It's really good quality for $10 and I feel it would last a while.

  • Tried it before and it’s definitely one of the better companies to do surveys with. They make it so easy, the website is easy to navigate and the surveys are generally not too long. It’s easy to do whilst on the couch or filling in time! Definitely worth checking out to earn some extra cash.

  • Purkle is fun! Not a lot to earn from but if you like filling up surveys or voicing ypir opinions, it is definitely worth a try. Sometimes there are survey on music which are the most fun ones and also, these are the ones that reward the most. Not bad to earn a gift card or 2 in a year!

  • I love Purkle. While the surveys don’t award massive sums, the surveys themselves are never long. Other platforms want a minimum of 10 minutes which can be hard to commit to during day time chaos. It doesn’t take long to accumulate a decent sum, and I use gift cards as a way to treat myself. They can be redeemed for grocery gift cards. I’ve cashed out over $200 in a year and a half. Give it a go!

  • I’ve been with Purkle for a few years now. One of my favourite survey and money earning platforms. Easy to build up a balance and redeem your earnings. Love sitting down and completing my purkle surveys, to see balance grow. I use this to treat myself or put towards presents for Christmas

  • I’m not having any luck with purkle. I tried to sign up for it and it just wasn’t working so I emailed them and didn’t hear back, I just tried again now and managed to create an account but then the activation email contained no link to click and actually activate my account. From the comments here it looks like I’m not missing anything anyway

  • I’ve earnt a bit through Purkle and other survey sites. They are great passive income. I don’t mind that Purkle pays in gift cards as it provides a great opportunity for me to buy something for myself as opposed to putting cash away for expenses. But cash is always good!

  • Surveys have been great to keep me awake while feeding my newborn at night but I agree with some of the comments that the time commitment is too high for the benefit. I do not believe i will continue using it once baby starts to sleep through and get through feeds quicker.

  • I tried Purkle for approx 1 year and quite frankly it’s really not worth your time
    Very few surveys and very low amounts paid
    Worst thing is it only pays in gift cards so no cash
    I gave up and just stuck with my original survey site that I’ve been using for years
    It makes me $120 average in PayPal a week without too much effort and supplies the family with an annual holiday without touching the household budget

  • It’s a shame I’m already a member and can’t enter the competition. Surveys in general – including Purkle – can be a good way to earn some money, but just remember you won’t earn much from any one survey. It does add up over time though, and isn’t particularly difficult to do.

  • This is a nice way to earn a bit extra money but you won’t earn a lot. Some surveys time out too which is annoying or hey just stop working half way through. If you have spare time and want to do it then why not. I sometimes do these on the train on my way to work and it slowly builds up to allow you to get a reward. It all helps.

  • I joined Purkle ages ago but to be honest I have never used it and totally forgot that I joined let alone that I could be earning money and points while being at home. Any opportunity to make some money and try to help financially, off I go to rejoin I think!

  • I have joined up and hope to gain some bonuses. I realise it won’t be a lot but it’s good to know from genuine people on here that have been part of purkle that it is a real site. So many scams out there so good to know this isn’t one of them.

  • Purkle is a great surveys site. I’ve redeemed vouchers from there. You’re not going to make a fortune from it but you do definitely earn for your time. I haven’t done any for a while as I just haven’t had rhe time but I’ll definitely get back into it. The vouchers always come in handy.

  • The inner sceptic in me will prevent me signing up! I’m not against a survey, however I would rather do one here and there when I can with the incentive of winning something big! Even a $100 voucher. At the rate I win, it works out better than signing up for this.
