Due to my weekly budget, I am starting to plan my daughters birthday present now. Because her birthday is on the 30th of December which is a time I find difficult financially with Christmas new years and both my mother and my birthday so close. After much time thinking about what a nice first birthday present might be I have decided that I will open a trust fund for her and ask that everyone contribute to her future as apposed to adding more toys or clothes to her collection. I always assumed that having her birthday so close to Christmas and new year would be dreadful in the gift department but after coming up with my idea Im now thinking its a blessing in disguise. Of course I will still put on a nice party and have a celebration, instead I will have more time to focus on her and have play time as apposed to opening presents that she would most likely ignore while she rips up the paper they were wrapped in.
