Hello!

We were lucky enough to be invited out to watch a DVD on a 3D TV. I was surprised and delighted and we had a ball watching the DVD. I remember old 3D glasses and the technology has advanced and improved in leaps and bounds. It was a good, fun and cheap night out.

  • I’m yet to be convinced on 3D TV but as you say, technology has changed so much since when they first tried on TVs. I did like seeing 3D movies with the old fashioned red and blue glasses though so remain hopeful.

  • The technology is pretty amazing these days and all within the average person’s reach.

  • I have never experienced a 3D TV. Your article implies that you do not need to wear special glasses. May be nice to have a review of a 3D TV here. Does the 3D TV stream old movies in normal mode as well?

    • yeah does normal stuff and normal channels

  • Bet it’s not so cheap to buy the 3D TV, though!

    • Surprisingly, it was a sale item and super cheap! I would have thought they were expensive too – some I have seen are worth $1000’s! Probably depends on the brand and the store.

  • I love 3D on the TV and on the big screen at the movies. Star Wars in 3D was spectacular.
