I am always looking for ways to stay interested in exercise. It doesn’t come naturally to me and so I need to keep changing things around as I try to lose weight and improve fitness. I was flicking through my women’s mags and came across a 30-day squat challenge. At first I thought ‘nah, too hard’ but I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It was nearly November, November has 30 days, will help with keeping things in check at Christmas. And so I have started. 50 on day 1, 55 on day 2, 60 on day 3, day 4 rest and 70 on day 5. The first three days I could hardly walk by the end of the day. I struggled this morning with 70 but got them done and have so far survived the night. Now the challenge is more or less about how many days I can actually make it through! And I wonder why I start these crazy things :)

  • 50 on the first day! How many were you doing on the lady day? I beg you were sore, fir the first few days anyway
