A state of flux! - Real Mum story on MoM

Our boss has been stood down pending further investigations – most of us are in complete shock, no idea what the charges are or who laid them, how many people are involved, and don’t know how to react/respond to anyone in case it is misconstrued, etc….
It is a really hideous time, and my heart breaks for the accused and those that have had the courage to speak up. The issues obviously have legs, or boss would be in office.
My question to you all, is have any of you been in a similar situation> did your boss come back to work > did you find out what happened????
We are all people, with feelings, and a level of emotional involvement. I am really confused and on edge!

I can imagine this is a stressful situation.
Years ago I worked on a psychiatric ward of a general hospital and the treating psychiatrist of this ward saw criminal clients who were into drugs. We had a situation with gun shots on the ward. Later it became clear the psychiatrist had too many links with the drugs world himself. So yes, on a certain point we got informed and things came out in the newspaper, but before that the situation was stressful and threatening.

I’m sure with time the full story will emerge. I’m hoping you haven’t list your job because of what your boss is involved. Such a stressful time fir you all

Never been in this situation. As it is under investigation they will need to keep it quiet. Maybe get some support, work should offer some counselling?
