You’ve probably been following you child’s height and weight development on those percentile charts where you can see how they are expected to grow, and what “percentile” of the population they lie in. Have your children grown taller than you? What age did they pass you? Does this depend upon where you sit in the “percentile” chart as an adult?

  • My 2 eldest are taller than me. My daughter who just turned 12 passed me about a month ago. They think it’s great lol

  • My daughter is now 14 years old and she’s 162 centimetres. I am the smallest in the house now, with just 160. While my husband is 190, so I expect my daughter to still grow up a little bit.

  • My daughter is only 4 years old but I expect that she will grow taller than me as she is above average height for her age now. She is already wearing size 11 shoes and I often do dress her in a size 5 instead of a 4 depending on the make. I expect that me being short she will probably be a head taller when she grows up.
