Asking for help

In all honesty its a huge job for every parent, But the one thing i have learned more than anything is to ask for help, and even though i am a single parent i am not alone. Although quite often it feels that way there are places and people who are there and able to help. When my daughter was 4 months old i had to go back to work, but i couldn’t go far as she wouldn’t take a bottle lucky for me i worked from home, however it was almost impossible for me to get anything done as i was needed for feeding and settling, there is a place called the Ellen Barren Center and they help with people having difficulties getting there children to sleep.

This is just one of the many places i turned to for help. And it really did save my sanity and helped me.

So don’t ever think your alone as there are always places out there that can provide allot of help and support for parents.

There is a number of reasons why a baby won’t settle. Finding out the reason can be difficult. Sometimes it can be a genuine medical problem.

It can be hard finding the right person or place to ask.

That’s the thing with mums, they think they need to do it all on their own, seeing themselves as failures if they have to ask for help. If only they knew how much things improve when you do reach out, as in your case

I’m so bad at asking for help, and I don’t know why because I love offering a helping hand to others.

Some times it is hard to ask for help, but always worth it when you do.
