With Covid19 firmly affecting all of our lives I would like to think that something positive could come out of it all, and that it might bring about necessary change for the future which will impact on our children.
Over the years, we have lost our independence, sold out our country and our children’s future and its left us vulnerable in times such as these. With unemployment at an all time high and rising it seems to me that it would be sensible to bring back certain industries and thus provide jobs and skills right here in Australia. I think a bit of Australian pride would go along way to further a prosperous future and i get he feeling that more and more Australians are starting to see this for themselves. I for one will be looking to purchase Australian made products. As an example, a can of corn kernels which are imported is 10c cheaper that one grown and produced here. I would certainly be happy to pay 10c more for every product i purchased if it would bring prosperity back to Australia for a brighter future for our children and grandchildren.
