Hello!

Its been 3 months since the birth of my first child, Im showering which is a luxury these days as im sure most mums can relate. Rather then being relaxing and comforting my showers have now become a nightmare due to the huge clumps of hair which have started falling out.

Thanks to google iv become aware that hair loss is normal around this point but come on!! firstly I had to gain weight while being pregnant, labour was the most painful experience of my life, my emotions are insane and now to top it off im starting to look bald :(

  • your hormones and emotions go so out of control. this happened to me also. have they checked you for polycystic ovaries? I have this condition and depending on the levels you can have thinning hair and weight gane as a side effect. I am sure its prob just ur hormones being all over the place. My hair remained thin and this did bother me but ive learnt to accept it. I have found an amazing product TOPPIK hair powder, it binds to your hair and it makes u look like ur head is thick and lush! even if its something u ise til ur hair grows back. hope that helps x

    • I’m facing a similar issue..but my GP recommended, Vit D and iron tablets…and its getting better now…its because of weaning he said.

  • I had the opposite issue to you, my hair just wouldn’t stop growing, I was constantly getting it cut. My hair improved after having my children. I was so happy. I am sure by now your hair is back to normal.
