Hello!

I’m from the Czech Republic and my husband is Australian. We live in Australia and have 3 kids. We moved here when our daughter was 5 and son 2. We had another son born in Australia. When we moved here my daughter spoke really good Czech and English. But now she doesn’t want to and when she does it’s not very good. I speak only Czech to the kids and my husband only English. They understand everything I say but they just don’t or can’t speak it. It makes me quite sad. Especially knowing that my daughter used to speak so good. I find frustrating when my family tells me that I HAVE to speak only Czech to them and I DO. It’s really hard because they hear it over here only from me. But their English is pretty good, better than mine ????
