There was only 4 days till my due date i was sitting at the hospital waiting for my last antenatal appointment i had started getting light contractions i wondered what was ahead but didnt think i was in labour not long after i went in and told the m/w what was happening and she said it sounds like early labour and she might see me tonight . After having dinner that night i was tired and thought that if i was in early labour id need rest i fell asleep at 630pm i woke up at 1am to a popping sounds which i assumed was my waters i jumped out of bed i had a towel next to my bed for this very reason and stuffed it between my legs and made my way to the loo. I told my aunty and nan that my waters had broken and called my sis and the babys father we made our way to the hospital 12 and a 1/2 hrs later after a episiotomy and gas i delieverd our postierer baby boy weighing 6lb 11oz healthy and handsome
