i went to the birthday party for my 6 year old daughter’s friend yesterday, well not really friend but a girl from her class. i didn’t know the people or the girl but thought it was ok. i was totally wrong, the first thing i saw was a woman (i am still not too sure if it was the mother) with a few days old baby in one arm and a cigarette in the other, 10 minute later she was joined by the family members all having a smoke.now i believe any one can do what ever they want in the comfort of the own home but we are at a 6 year old’s birthday party with lots of young kids running around. i wanted to leave but my daughter was having a great time so i decided to stay just keep my distance. before long the party was over and it was time to cut the cake and i had another funny one in store, the woman cutting cake licked her fingers after each slice, like really licked and grubbed slice after slice to give it to the kids. i had to tell them my daughter is allergic to the dye, excuse myself and ran. i must sound like a snob but i just couldn’t stand the thought of it.
