After reading everyone’s views I might have to get one too!

I have a Bissell Spot Clean…..I also have a green machine, which is the older model. I like both. Handy to pick up small spills, great for cleaning small patches, car mats, upholstery. Beware……if the rest of your carpet is dirty, the spot you clean with this machine comes up brighter than the rest, and that’s almost as bad as a dirty spot on a clean carpet.

My mum has the full Bissel system, it cost a lot but boy does it work!

I have a Haan – they are amazing!

I have a bissell upright floor cleaner and love it, its worked wonders on my carpets and sofas.

I would highly recommend getting one we have had ours for about 5 years and it is still going strong even after being lent out to many times to count, Well worth the money

I’ve got an upright Bissell Full sized carpet washer with a spot cleaner attachment hose on it and have used it on my car seats and lounge with amazing results. I’ve also loaned it out to friends on many occasions and they have been very happy with it. I used to have my carpets cleaned but now after the last few years I’ve had the machine I can do it at my own convenience. It cost something like $500-$700 I think a few years ago (under 5). It has paid for itself, considering it’s about $80-$100 to get your carpets cleaned.

  I have the small one and was wondering if it was worth getting the bigger one as I think I over-stretch the little spot cleaner!

Also if anyone has any other recommendations for a system like this
