Do any of the clever people in this community have suggestions for good and helpful books on family issues?

  • go for a browse! i know that khloe kardashian has made a list of her fav self help books, if you were interested

  • On the Blog section of Moms I came across some posts by Jayneen Sanders – she was recommending books for younger children – but they were great ones and many I had not heard of before – maybe you could message her as I think she could have potential possibilities. Always good to ask people who are in the loop. I hope things start to improve for your whole family little by little Please take care ad stay connected with those around you.

  • Have you tried your local library? GPs and schools often have pamphlets and help on offer. It depends on your issues of course. Then there’s the Internet, good old Dr Google may be able to help

  • I went to the local bookshop and with the help of a staff member came away with a bag full of books which I hope will be helpful. Would still love any other suggestions/tips for books.

  • What kind of family issues and how old are the children the books are for?

    • A teenager with depression. They are getting help, but I want to be well informed and to help and offer support and also give them extra resources. Depression impacts on everyone and as a community we all need to be aware and to support people. Books can often reach people. Would love your suggestions. Thanks.
