If your husband and kids are heavy sleepers you can even do some vacuuming. I know one Mum who reckons its the best time to do it, no helpers, or should I say hindrances.

  There is definitely a serenity that envelopes the house at that time.

i find that i am so tired when they get into bed that i will just go to bed myself!

Wow, seven children! I take my hat off to you, I promise not to complain about two anymore. I also get things done when the kids are in bed, so much easier and quieter!
