Does anyone know if there is such a thing as pants to wear after having a c-section that sit lower down so not to sit or irritate the cut and stitches?

Any info would be great

  • Yoga pants sound like a good option

  • I haven’t hear of any. Maybe you you’ve just found yourself a niche business to start up.

    • Yes I am surprised there isn’t any out there as of yet haha

  • Try yoga pants – they’re soft and you can often roll the waistband down.

  • I don’t think they make c-section pants but I’m guessing maternity pants would be a good option.

  • granny panties would be a start, but actual pants designed for c cection scars I have never heard of so sorry

  • Full briefs would be a better options, as the scar is already so low it would be hard to get pants lower. Wearing loose clothing or footless tights with a flowing top would be another option until your scar is healed properly

  • I would wear high wasted kickers and when you are at home and make sure you have a dress on and leave your knicker off as this will help with the irritation

  • I would suggest nicker that are high wasted and also if you you can at times go with out nickers on for example when you are at home were a dress and leave your nickers of to stop the pain from your scare

  • I have had 2 c sections already and am up for my third in a few months and found most pants, short and undies sat exactly where I didn’t want them too. I was wondering if there were specific pants that are designed to sit lower with a strong elastic or etc to keep them in place

  • You c-section cut is actually low already, I wore maternity pants until I felt comfortable enough to wear normal clothes (maternity pants come up over the belly).you c-section cut will actually be on your bikini line, so where a pair of bikini briefs sit will be roughly where the cut is or just below

  • I just went to target and got some “granny” pants they fitted over and above my scar and are also great at keeping your pads in the right place.
They are called full briefs and those are great

  • I would just go to your local kmart and try and find a pair that suits, you won’t pay too much either.
