I found my old diary (well, little madam did going through boxes she should not have been!)

I used to collect all sorts of quotes and things, and I found a whole section on teddies.

I don’t have the details as to who originally said these, but I thought it might cheer people up.

This is a few of them:

“The world is divided into 2 nations. Those with teddy bears, and those without. Each thinks the other odd.”

“Many a heart learns to love from its first teddy bear.”

“I read somewhere the teddy bear is a symbol used by people of all ages to recapture infant security in the face of frightening new situations.

I don’t know; I just feel better having himn around”

“When everyone else has let you down, there is always Ted”

Teddy bears accompanied pilots in the RAF during WW2, and went with GI’s into Vietnam.
