Hello!

When I was 19. I worked i did pub work. I got mixed up with the wrong person and got into drugs. I was really messed up. I ended up homeless. My family had turned my back on me. In June 2009 I changed my life around. I left my joke town and moved interstate. A kind person was willing help me to get clean and sort my life out. I left all my family and friends behind. I had no choice. If I didn’t do it I wouldn’t be here today and certainly wouldn’t have what I do now. On September 8th 2010 I gave birth to my baby girl. She is my world and my life. I am now 4and half years clean. I give my daughter everything I can. Her father is in her life she has a stable home. She is one happy little girl. My family are back talking to me again. And I have just seen my dad for the first time in 4 years earlier this year. If it wasn’t for someone giving me a second chance I wouldn’t know where I would be today. Well that’s my story. That’s why I always keep faith, hope and heart. Everything will work out in the end.

  • My family only come back into my life when I had my daughter. They can see how far I have come and what I have achieved now. I forgot to mention I just finished my cert 2 in business ASWELL. I actually own things in my home that I can call mine. It’s a great feeling. If I didn’t make the change I would be six feet under. But cause one person who could see something in me gave me a second chance. I wish my family would have supported me and helped and not turned their backs but it’s made me who I am today. I can’t change the things I have done but I make myself a better person by learning from my mistakes. Thank you for the kind words

  • Its always good to hear of people like you who have made an effort and changed their lives around. Its not easy to do when you don’t have the tools or the support of love ones. But you should be very proud of yourself. I want to wish you all the best for the future.

  • Great work – it’s not what’s in the past but what is in the future that we can work towards.
