Well done ! . I have been doing this for years and even the kids do a yearly spring clean as they grow fast etc. Best of all you can pop into the shops and you may get items you like for such a cheap price . Win-Win .

I have all my kids clothes saved in bags and have been meaning to take them to a charity shop, thank you for the motivation, I will be doing it this weekend!

yes i did this last weekend! had a big clean out! now that all our winter jackets etc are in use, our wardrobes have no room so a clean out was neede

I often donate clothes and books.

I do this too and get extreme satisfaction from it!

Good on you. Nothing beats the satisfaction of being able to help others out. Personally I enjoy the cleans out etc. find no reason to hold onto things that might never get used by us when someone else could use immediately. I do however understand that when they have been given as gifts it can seem a little abrasive to ‘offload’ them so to speak straight away
