  Thank you so much that really means a lot. The only thing i know for sure about my parenting is is never make a threat I’m not willing to follow through on and never make a promise i might not be able to keep

Sounds like a good outcome. I wish more parents would teach their kids about being grateful. I was very upset this year with one young lady’s ungratefulness and its a shame more kids aren’t taught manners and thankfulness.

Thats funny, I just wrote a story about my kids regarding on being ungrateful. ..in the end I left 4 presents from santa n I did have a good christmas with my lil family.

Glad to hear you all had a lovely Christmas. My son was similarly behaved prior to Christmas but he was well behaved enough to also receive presents on Christmas Day. This year we bought a Christmas present for one of the Christmas toy drives and I explained to my son that it is better to give than receive and that not everyone is as fortunate.
