Hello!

I have always loved Christmas, always been my favourite time of year, can catch up with family, have an awesome feast, open presents. This year however im finding it so hard to get presents for everyone and it is stressing me out to the max, it is taking away my Christmas spirit :( Some days I just feel like I cant wait for it all to be over, but then I remember it isn’t all about presents and how much you spend, but about enjoying the day with family and showing each other that you care and love them. So now all I have to do is keep that in mind and will make my worries go away. I cant wait for Christmas, I cant wait to see family that I haven’t seen in a while and catch up. I have now set up a budget for presents rather then going all out. It will be a great day, lots of fun and laughter. The true Aussie way.

  • I am struggling to afford anything for my own kids this year, let alone my nieces and nephews. I’ve already told all the adults we won’t be able to get them anything.
It kinda does suck the joy out of it all and makes it hard to stay positive. :/

  • We always have set a budget. To us its not about how much you spend on the gifts but the giving and receiving. Unfortunately, my Christmas stress is due to family feuds. I am hosting Christmas lunch for the family this year and I am praying that everything will be ok. I am hoping that they remember the meaning of Christmas and just enjoy a great day.
