Hello!

You know what I love? Coming up with ways to reuse things in the house and garage in fun new ways that the kids enjoy. Just this weekend I had a brainwave that I could reuse some old dowel lengths in the garage and a quilt cover in the linen press to make a tee-pee for the kids. Well, let me tell you, the kids had so much fun helping to build our mystery project and could barely contain themselves when it finally dawned on them what it was. All it needed was that spare rope and 15 mins.
The kids haven’t stopped playing in it or raving about it to their friends. They have even slept in it 2 nights n a row. A little bit of imagination on a rainy day certainly made a memory we will all cherish.

  • I would love to be that creative! I hadn’t even thought of doing something like that, but as soon as I read your idea I wanted to make a teepee.

    • They are loads of fun and I hope you did it!

  • I love repurposing things and hate to waste any good materials that can be reused. The tepee is an amazing idea!

  • It is great fun I did all those sorts of things when my kids were little and I had just as much fun as they did. You could always find something and turn it into fun and these are the the things they remember doing. It still amazes me today just what sort of things I could come up with and join in with the kids
