I have spent all the day digging the garden to take out all the dead and neglected plants (and many weeds) to make way for some more soil and a new garden bed. I am very excited as I am turning it into a vegetable garden. The space is not that big, but it will be really fun to grow, prepare and eat our own home grown veggies. It is an activity the kids can help with and I will know that there will be no harsh chemical sprays on the vegetable and they will be 100% organic and a fraction of the cost from buying organic produce from the supermarket! Fingers crossed it all works out well!
