Hi mums, I’m sure you are all like me a struggle to come up with ideas for dinner. More importantly dinner that the kids will eat. So I’m putting it out there. What works in your house? I have a 4 year old who will eat most things and an 18 month old who is very fussy.

  • Wraps work well or baked potatoes

  • Spaghetti, sausages with salad (not mixed salad so avocardo, beetroot, cheese, apple, corn, carrot sticks). Also rissoles with steamed veges. Good luck.

  • You could always add mashed or puree veggies to meals they like. When my kids were younger they ate pastas, tuna patties made with mashed potato and savoury mince.

  • well just keep the meals basic, so sausages and mash potato, lasagna, rissoles, spaghetti etc kids like food blander anyway as well

  • I had a fussy little one for a while but he was given basically the same as the rest of the family and most of the time if he was hungry he would eat. Meals were simple – steamed veggies and chicken or something like that, spag bol, lasagna etc

  • I would go with tacos! Everybody decides with what to fill them (meat, carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, avocado, sour cream, capsicum, cheese, spicy sauce..) and everybody is happy. What do you think?
