So my little one is having a lot of trouble napping, this is partly due to the face that we live with my mother in law and her three yap dogs, who bark even when it’s a housemate coming home, waking him up.

He gets so grumpy from being tired all the time, but I just don’t know how to tell her to control her dogs. It’s driving me bonkers, and an unhappy Mummy doesn’t leave much general happiness in the household.

My son adores the dogs, plays with them constantly, but his lack of good length naps are really getting to me.

It is natural for dogs to be happy when one of the family comes home and that is their way of greeting. They also alert that there is people round, even in your yard, at your door or window. have you got friends you can visit while your baby has a sleep in his stroller. If you choose to live with others it is likely you are going to cause ill feelings, making extra stress for all of you to cope with.

Have you been living there very long? It’s a situation that may just need time to get past. With time, bub might get used to the yappy dogs and sleep through their barking. Here’s hoping you found a solution as lack of sleep can be so damaging
