Hello!

I think it must just be the time of year, but the last few weeks have been a bit of a struggle. I can’t help but have these moment of feeling completely and utterly overwhelmed by life. I have a busy toddler, am currently 16 weeks pregnant and we are renovating. There is a lot going on, but i just can’t seem to find balance. I have times where i just cannot stop crying or feeling as i keep saying overwhelmed. I just keep trying to take 5 minutes to myself, take deep breaths and being proactive in day to day activities. Probably also something to do with hormones, but i am hoping everything settles down as the year continues!!

  • Hope it settled down for you:) wanted to just let you know that breathing though it helps and same days you just have to take that 5 min brake

  • Hope things ended up well for you and you’re still not feeling overwhelmed.

  • Hoping you are feeling less overwhelmed now. There’s always so much going on.

  • My goodness, you have every reason to feel overwhelmed at this point with everything happening at the same time. You are on the right track with trying to take a five minute break when you can, but now in June you are getting close to having your baby so I hope you might have somebody to give you a break from being on duty constantly. When baby arrives you might have to be kind to yourself first and let a few things go so you can be a happy mum with a happy family. You’ll have time down the track to be the perfect housewife or whatever. All the best!

  • Get yourself to your gp – first a simple blood test to check levels of various bits that might be out of whack. If all ok there, then get a referral to talk to someone
