First day of Kinder

Today was our little princesses first day of kinder and both hubby and i plus our three other boys went to drop her off. She was so happy and excited and was totally unfazed. Hubby and I were both a little emotional but we had nothing to worry about. When i went to pick her up she didn’t want to leave and i was so proud when the teacher said she was such a good girl and so helpful.

Iucky my son was easy to drop off on the first day off kinder, its so much easier when they are happier for you to leave them. My poor friend had her son holding onto her screaming for her to stay. Lets just say she was really in tears and devastated after she left her son at the kinder.. Same thing happened the next day. But i was late dropping my son off by about 5 minutes. I can not tell you how happy she was when i meet her in the car park after drop off and i had dropped my son off when i told her, her son was happily playing with mine and there were no tears.

Well done! Sometimes it’s harder for us parents to let them go… I’m sure she will continue to love it there!

It’s wonderful when they enjoy kindergarten. Sounds like she will have a great year.
