We just purchased our first investment property. Although it needs a lot of work we couldn’t be more excited.

This is what my son wants to do. Buy cheap places, fix them up and sell them or rent them out

Us too but we are building for the added tax benefits associated with new houses. It’s scary as we are paying two mortgages until it is completed and we get tenants. Long term gains hopefully.
