A great idea. I also use IKEA drawer dividers and find this helps to sort our clothes neatly and so we can clearly see where everything is.

It’s interesting reading this. Each season I do this for others in the family, but not me think I better start doing everyone’s more often.

Good advice especially when you are in a hurry and you don’t have to sort through everything!

  I to would love to see a photo of this, I fold and stack my daughter’s t-shirts etc but of course she always wants the bottom one and it all becomes a big mess very easily

It can be hard to maintain when you’re in a hurry, though!

I forgot to also say that the items are stacked vertically on their ends not on top of each other. It makes them easier to see.

I do exactly what mom94125 says. It helps a lot!

if you place the clothes so they are vertical instead of horizontal and flat, you can see what you want easily/ stack them that way

It is good advice and is very true as when clothes are flat , it is actually taking up less space I think . I fold my underwear now and then , but it never lasts as I think it is because they are small items and especially if you are rushing , it is easier to get into a mess . I mainly fold towels and tshirts and my son is so good at folding his own clothes , his wardrobe is very tidy .
