Case girl, just wanted to say I can empathise with you so much, as with my first baby our breastfeeding experience was very much like yours – we had almost every problem you could have with breastfeeding, and it was very hard. I was so disappointed things weren’t going smoothly and it was very depressing for me also. I hope you hold your head high, and pat yourself on the back, knowing you gave it a go and did the best you could, and your baby is thriving. 
Well done, and just to let you know I’ve gone on to have 3 more children, and the breastfeeding experience has been like night and day with all of them – I have had minimal problems each time, compared to my first experience and it’s gotten easier each time – so second, third and fourth time around can be so different. All the best for the future.
