This time of year is crazy for more than just one reason. It’s kitten season! Being a cat lover I decided to start working with my local cat rescue organisation and giving a temporary home to four little orphan kittens. I can’t afford to donate but I do have the time and the love to help some kittens that would otherwise be destroyed.

It’s shocking the amount of people that don’t desex their animals, they animal winds up pregnant and dumped at a shelter or worse yet on the street.

This Christmas if you can afford the time or the money for a donation please help in giving animals in a need a forever home. There are many shelters and organisations that will gladly except donations of cat food at this time of year.

Some shelters actually vaccinate and desex them before you are allowed to take one home. You are charged a fee which covers that. I think it’s an excellent idea.

I am so enthralled by your effort. I don’t think i could foster animals, I would have them for a short time and wouldn’t be able to hand it back. But am in awe of those who do it as it’s much needed

I love animals of all description and have 2 cats and a guinea pig of my own. Each have unique personalities and I love to come home and have them there waiting for me. They are so therapeutic. We should all realise the value of having pets and do what we can to protect them and care for them responsibly.

Hi hun I knw exactly what u mean and how u feel I too am a foster Carer for a rescue group at one stage I had 7kittens in my house and that was on top of my personal 2 which I nw have 4 of my one cats. 2 of mine I adopted for then rescue I foster for and the other 2 I saved frm a pound. It’s alot of hard but fun work looking after the kitties but yes donations of food and that does help rescue groups out as it cost alot to feed them all 🙂

what beautiful person you are to help from cats as I have a cat Myself , and i just adore her we have a person that keeps breeding cats once the cat has had its letter she let’s them Roma Street hungry she has done this on many occasions , I have called the council on her on many occasions and also the RS PCA simply don’t do anything about it, which I find disgusting she also has a dog that she does not feed and mistreats a gain i called council RSPCA the poor little thing comes to my home so I can feed him I don’t mind at all as I adore all animals and totally agree with you all animals should be desexed and microchip but that’s not always the case unfortunately
