It’s amazing to finally realise how important your network of friends is when you are thrown some curveballs in life! I was ‘lucky’ this week to have had 2 unfortunate events happen, as it made me truly realise how important and special having a great group of friends really is. I was not only booked in to have hip surgery yesterday, but we had our car and both my husbands wallet and my purse stolen last Thursday night as well.

Instead of being drowned in sorrow, we were thoroughly swamped with feelings of love, offers of support and people going out of their way to help us! We have had kids dropped off and picked up from school, meals cooked for us, treats baked for the kids, babysitting, gifts, flowers and one mum even went to the effort of buying my little man a new spiderman kindy bag as he lost his in the car robbery!

It is so nice in a world of negativity and sorrow to realise the true happiness and love that comes from those around us daily. So to all the beautiful people in our lives this is just a little thank you for restoring our faith in humanity 🙂
