We have had the pleasure of my hubby,s parents taking two of our three kids on a dream trip to Queensland for a lovely holiday that we could only dream of affording.. We warned them not to let the kids get away with anything or there will be trouble… HA HA HA.. Well lets just say the kids were so naughty on their hoilday of a life time.. I got feed the story they were good when i picked them up from the airport.. So i got my hubby to call his parents as i didnt believe them… Well lets just say they will not be rushing in to take the kids away too quickly next time.. The kids were so naughty they think the kids have issues.. I think it has to do with all the junk food they feed them.. And the fact they never say no to the kids… Their idea of punishment was to send the kids to the kids club everyday at a fantastic resort..(one kids dream about going to kids club at.. so much fun without the boring grandparents… ) At least they had sometime out from the kids…
My hubby and i will be visiting them soon to help keep the kids in line .. next time.. It will start with no choc milk for breakfast or coco pops.. may be one or two treats a day but thats it… and to say no occasionally..
We had the best break ever, two kids gone for a week and the youngest who was great on his time with other nanny for two days…
I do have to admit for 70 year olds they did a great job looking after them.. But maybe next time they might listen to us when we say to stop giving them junk just to keep them happy…
