Hello!

The holidays are a good time to get the kids outside and involved in creating and looking after gardening projects. Teaching the kids about gardening and growing their own food sets them up with some good and practical life skills.

  • I have just bought everything I need to start a small veggie garden with the little ones. My track record in the past has not been great but hopefully with my toddler involved he will remind me to look after it!

  • yeah it is a great thing to get the kids into. it sure does teach them a lot about nature and the kids get excited to see the plants grow a little more every day.

  • My 14 month old helped us pick tomato’s from the garden the other day, lol he dropped one tomato and poked a few holes in some but he just loves following daddy to the veggie garden

  • So very true! Tonight our daughter found the smallest gecko I have ever seen – such a great thing to be outside in a healthy garden that inspires and teaches.

    • I love finding little animals in the garden and this experience sounds delightful. Little geckos are incredibly cute and fun to watch – they do move so fast! The more you have in a garden the more little and big animals come into it.
