Hello!

Like the rest of you I am a busy mum and read a really interesting quote, which is the title of this story. I thought about it for ages, and although it may seem strange, I realised it really bugged me when I came home to un vacuumed floors.

I had noticed robotic vacuum cleaners in a brochure, so I started to look into it. I found a company that advised me after I had purchased it I could have a full refund if I didnt like it……..so I plunged in and got a iRobot Roomba…….

My boys told me they reckoned it was a gimmick as I am always wanting to try something new……….

But wow, that was the best $800 I have ever spent.
Dont be fooled into buying a cheaper make, there are many good ones on E bay etc.

I would fully advise anyone to get one, as not only does it do a great job it also makes you pick things up of the floor more, which cant be a bad thing…….

With a family of teens I was always ready when they decided to bring home their mates, every bit helps….

Will be interested to see if anyone takes this to heart, because for me,,,,,,I got the better of what was holding me up.

  • Lol, my niece has one of these and swears by it. I was never convinced, what about the corners? It’s round, how does it do corners?

  • Not sure why or how but this story seems to have posted twice. But I’m definitely with you in disliking floors which aren’t kept clean. I can’t afford $800 for a vacuum cleaner, but I’ll definitely be letting my family know I’d like one for Christmas.

    • Great idea, I have a few friends who have done just that, make sure you dont get a cheaper make as these dont have the capacity to do the job properly.

Once you start using it you will use it daily I do during meal times in the kitchen, How good do you feel when the kitchen is cleared and the floor clean every day……..

I then put it on every evening last thing in the main bathroom, and it is amazing what it picks up, and always keeps your bathroom tip-top.

Over all it is the best investment I have ever bought, another point is that it takes a few times to really get deep into your carpet, so if sometimes it seems to be taking longer, when the carpet doesnt seem too bad, the cleaner is lifting debris that is deeper down in the pile.

      enjoy.

  • I hate when people don’t vacuum their floors. I feel so gross when I walk into their homes. You and I would make great friends. I’d vacuum 100 times a day if need be. Good on you. I’d rather spend $800 on a vacuum than drugs and alcohol. Good investment :)

    • I am glad you see the comparison between spending money on other things, it really is amazing how quickly you can spend $800, that was what made me take the final step to order one, and it didnt hurt me cutting back for a while to make up the difference.
So glad I did as it has paid off for itself in so many ways.
