So, a few months ago, I found out a family member is pregnant! I’m so happy for her… It’ll be her second child and I couldn’t be more thrilled for her and her husband.
Fast forward to yesterday, I got a text that they’re having a girl. I’ll admit it, a little bit of the Green Eyed Monster reared it’s face for a second. I can embarrassingly admit that I did get a little jealous. I have two gorgeous, wonderful little boys… but I do have that dream of a little girl… so I did feel a twinge of jealousy – just for a minute or two.
(Don’t get me wrong – I’m over the moon happy for her – I’m just a jealous of her pink bundle. It doesn’t mean I love my boys any less… )
At least I can satisfy my own girl yearnings by buying lots of beautiful pink outfits now
