I so often repeat the same words to hubby at christmas’s time. It’s about the kids!

I love xmas it’s all about watching the kids faces in the morning when they wake up and see presents under tge tree and the unwrapping, they bring laughter and to the day, I couldn’t imagine xmas without my kids and how it was before they were here, I spoul them rotten love there wide eyes of surprise I couldn’t care less if I got nothing as long as they r happy, merry Xmas everyone. And’s enjoy.

So true I can hardly wait now to start decorating our home and making decorations each year it gets a little earlier!

As a kid, I loved Christmas and I cannot remember when I stopped believing in Santa. Then I started working in hospitality which meant working long hours on Christmas day so other people could have a wonderful Christmas day…I began to hate Christmas. I didn’t look forward to it all!
Now that I have my own children (6 & 3 yrs), I just love it! My kids brought the joy back for me. I sometimes think that I get more excited than my kids…I always put my tree up when the kids are sleeping at night and when the wake in the morning I love hearing the screams and cheers of excitement. I love wrapping the presents, sending my daughter to school with her little gifts and taking the kids to chose a gift for the wishing tree. family Christmas lunch is at my house this year (first time) and I am beside myself with excitement!

I completely agree! Christmas was magical when I was little and it’s magical again because of my kids 🙂
