Hello!

Its like one things comes after the next in our household, constantly spending money on medical bills. :( It’s really hard to when you just don’t have the money to keep spending.

My husband has an ongoing problem and needs to see specialist’s, my eldest daughter is going to see a specialist in the upcoming weeks regarding her “tired eye”, my youngest daughter is seeing a specialist regarding her bowel movements and myself just had my pap smear which was all clear but had my breast check at the same time and found a lump, may be nothing but because the doctor found it, he wants to get it checked out… and where do I find the money to do that.

I know that health comes first but I can’t just pull money out of thin air and being on one income and trying to stick to a budget its really hard. We have a mortgage, bills coming and going, 5 mouths to feed and clothe and I just feel we are doing it tough at the moment.

I have being putting off having my breast ultrasound because I can’t afford it, but maybe I need to borrow off my parents or my husbands mum so can get this done to be safe, I also don’t really want to tell them what I am having done cause I don’t want them to worry.

Anyways I really hope something goes good for me and my family for the future and that we will be able to afford to live comfortably without worrying how we are going to pay for that.

Thanks for listening!

  • I know it can be hard trying to juggle money but I think if your doctor has suggested getting an ultrasound you really should because if it is anything nasty you want to get it treated or cut out ASAP incase it spreads quickly. It may be worth speaking with your doctor about your financial situation and see what he suggests and if it could be bulk billed and what are your options.
    good luck.
