my daughter got a urine infection (shes 9 months) so we got sent to our local hospitial. we were there for around 3-4days, They didn’t feed me as I was not breastfeeding (due to issues that I could not) I felt so discriminated, they also didn’t feed my daughter and when I asked why, there reply was “sorry we have been really flat out” I hope my daughter doesn’t get sick again. Because I really am not looking forward to going back there anytime soon. I didn’t leave my daughters side for 5 minutes. And I started to run out of a lot of energy because I was starving. Really upset. Terryfying.

  • Nothing beats the love you feel at a country hospital.

  • I can’t believe they didn’t feed your daughter!

  • Sorry to hear this, wasn’t there a hospital coffee shop where you could have grabbed a snack for you and your daughter?

  • thats a shame sandwich or anything is better than nothing. dial a pizza

  • that sounds horrible, i hope she gets better soon,

  • Sorry to here that you had such a horrible time. And things are hard enough when our cavies ate sick.

As for your girl not being feed, I would jut in a complant, not that it will change anything. It’s unfortunate they don’t feed parents as having parents there really helps nursing staff. But there are guidelines to follow I guess

Hope your girl is doing well now
