yeah but the govt doesn’t want to put funding into these things because they don’t make money. we almost have a non-existant film industry now. i don’t see it getting better as consumers are moving more away from cinemas and tv and more to internet tv and movie watching.

I hope Hoyts come through with their support. It would be sad to lose TropFest all together, it’s a great thing fir the young up and coming trying to cop a break in the industry

  Good on you! It is important and I hope they follow through too as we need Aussie talent and Aussie movies as well as international movies. We need this support for diversity and we need creativity to be supported as well as sports!
