Hurt and Sad

This evening i found out that my best friend whom i grew up with and have gone threw alot with has decided not to name me god mother of her first born child… I must admit i was not prepared for actually hearing this BUT in away i sort of knew at the same time but deep deep down had hoped i was wrong and that she would pick me…she is god mother of my first 2 born kids… It broke a little part of my heart when the words came out of her mouth on the phone tonight..thank goodness my husband was around to comfort me and help me get ahold of myself… Im not sure what i should do she clearly doesnt realise how much shes hurt me but at the end of the day its up to her and her husband….

Don’t worry it can be hurtful but the decision has been made and sadly it was not you. Be strong and move on.

My friend has just had a baby. She named a friend of hers, ex friend of mine, as the godmother. How quickly she forgets this is a woman who can’t even look after a dog! She had 2 and abused and neglected them for a long time until they were rescued. Sometimes, you just can’t explain some peoples reasoning

I suggest you talk to her about it; obviously it has upset you. Maybe she had to a choose a family member or for other reasons. Good Luck!

I would talk to her just to find out the reason behind it. It may just be a family member has been chosen.
