This is such a lovely idea – I love it. I will do this now as well, but I don’t have boys, it’ll be for my girls. Maybe they will create something similar for their own children. Great idea, thanks for sharing.

Now that’s what I call an intelligent and thoughtful idea, males do need all the help they can get.

I did this for my daughter who moved away to attend Uni. She picked out all her favourites.

  I have not yet had any of mine move as yet, I suppose one day it will happen. At least if they have the recipe book you know they can make all the favourites.

this is a fantastic idea for your boys. My Son would go on school holidays and cook with Mum and than come home and cook it for us and these are memories he still has. I wish I or my Mum had of done this but my Son whom is now 27 loves to cook and I put it down to Mum and I letting him help when baking and making things for meals that he could help do

I still have the one my mother made and gave to me, its a great one to turn to, I am sure your boys will love the effort and keep it and use it a lot. (I would also make some a little faint, so they have to give you that extra phone call, “what was that ingredient, cant quite read it mum” – te he he)

Good idea to all recipes become a book. It would be more easy to follow the recipes and your son should be proud with what you did.
