First of all I’m sorry fo your loss and of course your daughters. I can only begin to know how you feel. I lost my mum few years back now and she was my best friend and never got to meet my 2 daughters and im still not over it as people say and I never will be. Its like losing your right arm, they’re not there to share things or just be there when you need. I felt like I was run over by a truck with brwke failure, yes after years it does get a little easier but you never get over it nor does it stopped hurting or you missing them. The people who say get over it well they have never been through a loss of a loved one and as you said never felt real grief and when it does happen, it will hit them like a freight train.
