Insurance shop around! - Real Mum story on MoM

Hello!

It’s a pain but, a few phone calls could save you over $100 a year on insurance. Each year, when home and contents and car insurance renewals rolls around, I always obtain new quotes. Last year alone, I saved over $200 on my car insurance. Sure it takes time to shop around but, it can certainly be well worth the effort!

I do get annoyed though when you have been a customer for a long time and you ring and say is this the best price and they come back with a better price because we have been with them for so long. Would it be better to have the discount automatically applied and appear on the bill? That way my view of the company looking after me continues rather than thinking they are sneaky.

  I love it because I love to ‘haggle’ and get the price down as insurance companies always over charge! Feels like a win!
