Hello!

So I’ve just discovered the “LIttle Free Library” where people are sharing books via their own special places in the community. it seems you pass a loved book on and pick up some other read. People are making little boxes for their libraries (in GP waiting rooms, playgrounds, etc. and other places). See the website to find if there is one near you https://littlefreelibrary.org/ … I’m not sure whether I could part with my most well loved books though (since it does seem you might never see them again and they tend to be reference books)!

  • It looks like a wonderful thing. I generally bring books I no longer want to keep, to a second hand bookshop, so they can sell them and give the money for charity.
I don’t see any free library close to where I live, in WA. But maybe in the future, who knows?

    • I do the same thing with books – I like to share them about and give them away and keep special ones.

      • Yes. The space in the bookshelves is limited, and at one moment you need to make choices. Or you need to go out of the house to make space for them!! :-)
